The Bachelor of Science degree at UNVA is designed to prepare graduates for responsible managerial roles within a variety of organizational settings. The program provides a solid grounding in the four major business disciplines: management, marketing, accounting, and finance. And through the elective courses, students have an opportunity to customize their program and to study more deeply in the fields of Management, Marketing, Economics, Finance, International Relations and Public Relations. |

In order to graduate, students must successfully pass the 40 courses (120 credit hours) that make up the study plan. The program is designed to be completed in three to four years. Completion of the degree confers the title BSBA that is used after the graduate's name. BSBA STUDY PLAN General Studies Requirements: 12 courses (36 credit hours) College English I, College English II, Speech, Environmental Science I, College Algebra, Introduction to Political Science, International Relations I, International Relations II, History of World Civilization I, History of World Civilization II, Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Sociology. Business Competencies: 9 courses (27 credit hours) Principles of Accounting I, Principles of Accounting II, Introduction to Business Law, Contemporary Microeconomics Principles, Contemporary Macroeconomics Principles, Business Finance, Principles of Marketing, Introduction to Business, Introduction to Business Information Systems. Major Requirements: choice of 9 courses (27 credit hours) Strategic Planning, People and Organizations, Introduction to International Business, Principles of Management, Human Resource Management, Teams, Groups and Leadership, Labor Relations, Introductory Statistics, Cross-Cultural Studies in Organization, Organization Theory & Development, Business Ethics, Special Topics, Operations Management, Investment. Electives: choice of 10 courses (30 credit hours): Students may choose elective classes from one or more of the following disciplines: Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Public Relations, Economics, International Relations. •Focuses on business studies •Flexible: daytime and evening class options •A personalized approach with career advising •Internationally recognized Bachelor's degree •Small classes with interactive teaching •Develops your ability to do business in English |

| Aufnahmeprüfung - Details |
Admission to the Bachelor’s Degree programs requires the following: 1. Completed application form* 2. Motivational essay* (One page in English describing your short-term and long-term goals and why you want to study for a bachelors degree.) 3. Evidence of English language proficiency (This can be shown by passing the UNVA English language test or another approved standardized test, including TOEFL (500 paper, 175 electronic),Cambridge First Certificate (B or higher), IELTS (5.5). Graduates of English-language secondary schools are exempt from this requirement. 4. Secondary school leaving certificate (Maturita, Diploma, or other official document showing that you have completed secondary school. This document does not need to be included with your application if you are still a student. It must be given to the University before you begin Bachelor’s studies.) 5. Personal interview (The interview lasts about 20 minutes and covers the student’s secondary school experience, reasons for undertaking university studies, and career goals. For those whose distance from Prague make travel a problem, it is possible to conduct the interview by phone or online. The interview is scheduled after the application is received.) 6. Application fee of 35 USD or 500 CZK (Paid by bank transfer or in cash at the university. Details for payment will be sent by email after the application is received)
