Hospitality and Tourism Management, bachelor Study

Situated in the wellness resort Bad Voeslau, just 30 km south west from Vienna, we offer high-school graduates an intensive, profound and practice orientated education in English. Tourism is the most rapid growing industry and offers job opportunities worldwide.

ITM has been successfully educating national and international students for the last 20 years, offering a program whose core comprises of Languages (English, Spanish, French, and Russian), Management studies and Food& Beverage in order to lay the foundations for the direct entry into junior and mid-level management positions in the tourism and hospitality industry.

Our education is based on cultural, intellectual and moral development of our students in a multicultural environment. Cultural diversity as well as the personal atmosphere are key elements of the ITM educational concept.

Our program is completed with the reception of a Diploma, which is not only valid within Austria but also worldwide.

We at ITM offer our applicants extensive career coaching and consultation so that the right career decision is taken. After the successful completion of the ITM College program, the graduates have the following paths open to them: • Joining the industry and starting their career. • Continuing their studies at European University in Austria towards a bachelor's degree in „International Management“ or pursue further studies at one of ITM's partner universities either in Europe, Australia or in the USA.

The goal of our education is to prepare graduates to take up a position in middle management in the Hotel and Tourism industry, especially in the fields of:

• Hotels, system gastronomy and catering
• Tourism related transport facilities (Airline, railway etc)
• Sport organisations- and organisers
• Casinos, theme parks
• Event- management agencies and congress centres
• Art and heritage organisations
• National parks

The curriculum is aimed at the acquisition of those competences that you need when performing as host, manager and self-manager. You will develop knowledge, skills and attitude in the following areas: • business administration • human resource management • food & beverage management • travel and tourism management • sales and marketing • languages: English/French/Spa­nish/Russian/Ger­man

ITM only offers full time studies.

Bad Voeslau is an attractive health resort and offers ample leisure activities. In addition, it is just a stone's throw away from Vienna and other major cities.

ITM provides on-campus housing for students in the College Garden Hotel***. All rooms are fully furnished and feature a private bathroom. Bed covers, sheets and towels are provided. The single room costs 380,00 € per month, the double room 260,00 € per month/ person. All utilities as well as a weekly laundry service for towels and bed sheets are included in the price. A shared kitchen with all amenities is available.

Admission Procedure for EU citizens:

Application Form (available on our website www.itm-college.eu) and the following documents: • Curriculum vitae (in English) • Copy of birth certificate (certified English or German translation) • Copy of proof of nationality (certified English or German translation) • Letter of Intent (in English)

After having completed all the necessary requirements for application, you will be attending a personal interview (for non-Austrians: telephone-interview). Depending on your performance and motivation, you will/will not be admitted to ITM. The application procedure will be finalized with the payment of an admission fee of € 700,00.

Application Procedure for NON-European Students:

You send the ITM application form together with the following documents by mail to ITM College:

• certified copy of birth certificate • certified copy of the high school diploma • Curriculum Vitae • your personal essay in English language (300 – 500 words) • 2 recent passport photos, copy of your passport. All documents in English or German translation (certified copies). Please note that all documents that are required for the visa application must be handed in German translation to ITM!

Applications are selected by the Admissions Committee on the basis of: • Academic background – certificates or diplomas of educational institutions After having completed all the necessary requirements of the application, you will be attending a personal interview (for non-Austrians: telephone-interview). Depending on your performance and motivation, you will/will not be admitted to ITM. The application procedure will be finalized with the payment of the payment of an admission fee of € 1350,00. Upon receipt of payment, ITM will issue all required documents for visa application.
